THROWBACK THURSDAYS WITH @YUNGCOFF 9.20.2012

Hey Coffey Break Readers!

This playlist incorporates similar voices over drastically different sounds. “All about you” is without question one of the top tracks in rap. Ne-Yo and Miguel are arguably the two most prominent voices in R&B take polar opposite approaches to their songs on this list. Miguel goes with the classiest side of rhythm, while Ne-Yo joins the monumental shift of popular music towards a more European house style of music. The last song on the list is New Day by Fiddy and Alicia keys. While rapper 50 cent may have lost a bit of his control over the rap game as of late, but this without a doubt reminds us of why we love him. I hope you all enjoy this week’s Throwback Thursday!

  1. Sam, i couldn’t agree more. Albiet socially unacceptable, to me, graffiti is the purest form of art. It isn’t bound by any one style, and is able to tell stories with no words.
