My name is Chelsea Coffey. I am an image and branding consultant specializing in helping my clients discover, define, build, and project their brand. I often hear my clients express that they are confident in whatever it is that they’re offering, they just feel like they’re missing a few key elements to take their business or brand to the next level.
I’ve been fortunate to have spent the last 6 years honing my skills as an image consultant, social media manager, and brand consultant. I am a part owner/investor in a small production company here in Houston. I recently had a meeting with a young lady who have strong interest in modeling & fashion. My main problem is that the “modeling/fashion” world is not exactly my lane since I deal with music more. A close friend (who is a promoter here in Houston) referenced me to the “Trend Spotter” events held at Macy’s in the next coming weeks.
My main question is what is a good place to start for a “rookie” in this world. Don’t want here to get involved with the wrong people, just need the right direction to send her. She will be attending at least one of Macy’s event, but what should her approach be. Should she have portfolio done already, business card, or even a personal brand??? Also who should she be talking to when going to these events??? Any information you could give us would be a blessing. I am very impressed with your resume with the “CoffeyBreak” website (which by the way is a genius idea of branding” and also at Style Magazine . Also are you personally have any events or upcoming “meet-n-greets” she also might be interested in the Image Consulting if that is available for starters in the game. Thank you for your time.
