Natural Hair

Hey there!

So, long story short, The Coffey Break started off as a natural hair blog. I was receiving the warmest reception from women who were either natural, considering going natural, or just thought it was cool. The most common conversation would end with them asking me if I had a natural hair blog, and if not to please make one. It was the coolest thing because it was a much needed compliment to all the research I’d been doing over the last 2.5 years *and the next to tears moments of frustration while transitioning!

I never thought I’d see it, but that day finally came 5 years ago. I had been bootlegging a natural hair blog via Facebook for 6 months, and I couldn’t have been more excited to actually post about natural hair care from a more formal platform.

As creative as I am, I’ll only feel like my advice is helpful if I’m responding to your questions! I’ll do my best to answer them, and if I don’t know the answer, I’ll find someone who can!

For any ladies who wear their hair natural, PLEASE post or send me a photo of you with your natural hair style. It’s so important to encourage other women and girls trying to figure out their lovely new crown of hair!
